Taking Steps

Nicaragua

Nicaragua is a beautiful country filled with beautiful people.

Like many developing countries, challenges exist relative to nourishment, education, employment, health care, or opportunities for a better future.

Our initial interactions relative to Nicaragua focus on providing support for families with children.

We began by supporting education in January, 2026

Like most Central American countries, Nicaragua requires all students who attend school to wear uniforms.

Given the cost of such items relative to wage earnings, our initial Nicaragua engagement was to provide school uniforms to 101 elementary aged children school in Granada for the soon to be beginning 2026 calendar-based school year.

Our efforts will continue to expand to include larger number of children in Granada and progressively throughout the country.

The United States

As blessed as the US is with resources and financial wealth, an historically unpredecented series of occurrences commenced on a Federal level in the United States in 2025 that have profoundly negatively impacted the lives of many tens of thousands of individuals and their families.

Regardless of political parties or preferences, every single person throughout the world deserves to be treated as a human being; the US Constitution also provides every person who appears on its soil the right of due process.

A land of immigrants

From the Founders of the United States to 99% of the people who live in it today, the US has been a country of immigrants since its inception by immigrants. Immigrants have also historically, and continue today, to provide high percentages of workers essential for the US to function economically.

Dreams’ efforts to support these individuals and their families will be directed toward the release of those who are being detained, the inhumane conditions within such facilities, and the ability to provide basic assistance and sustenance to the families affected by such deplorable, racially biased actions.
